Even if the technology of flying car itself is more mature, how can we say that the sky is on the sky? Don't we need corresponding regulations? Of course.
Recently, South Korea released the "2030 future automotive industry development strategy". In the face of the economic downturn, South Korean enterprises plan to invest 60 trillion won (about US $50 billion) in the next 10 years to develop future transportation vehicles, in addition to electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, autopilot cars, and flying cars. Moreover, South Korea also plans to establish a route system for flying cars by 2023, and establish safety rules to provide personal flying car business from 2025; by 2030, self driving flying taxis and ambulances will be put into use.
With regard to the development of flying cars, South Korea has taken "the power of the whole country" seriously, I'm afraid. In October, South Korea said it would relax the legal restrictions on UAV packages and flying taxis, and they would participate in global competition and remain competitive in the rapidly expanding UAV market. Next year, the South Korean government will work out the UAV delivery service standard - after the signal is released, multiNational companies such as Google, DHL and China's ALIbaba have announced that they will soon start the UAV package transportation service in South Korea.
