Gravitron V2
The Graviton v2 is a unit that has been perfected ever since the initial release of our first Graviton. We have made this unit a lot more easier to fly and way more durable. We have also increased the flight time of the Gravtiron to 5-8 minutes depending on your style and up to 10+ minutes with an upgraded battery! The Gravitron has a top speed of 50+ miles per hour making the perfect unit to get your adrenaline going when looking for speed. The over all look of the initial Graviton hasn't changed much but it has surely evolved to become one of the TOP racers in the industry! With 6mm carbon fiber arms the Gravitron isINDESTRUCTIBLE, We don't only say indestructible but we also back that with aLIFETIME WARRANTY on the carbon fiber arms.
3k Carbon Fiber
Over 90% of the material used to make the Graviton is made of 3k Japanese carbon fiber which is one of the strongest carbon fiber out there. Not only is it very strong but is very very light. From day one our goal was not only to have a strong unit but at the same time have something that didn't weigh a ton and then sacrifice performance.
Powerful Brushless Motors
The Graviton V2 comes equipped with powerful 2204 2300kv motors. Unlike the V1 motors these motors have been optimized to give the most power possible while still being as efficient as possible. Achieving that balance was not easy since it is very hard to achieve both things. After tons of test on various different motors we have finally cracked it with these new motors. With enough power to carry a fully loaded unit and a Go Pro 3-4 its power is surely a force to be recond with. While the stock battery provided with each unit is a 3 cell Lipo (11.1V) the motors can easily handle a 4 cell Lipo (14.8V) for those who think they can handle the extra power.
ESC (Electronic Speed Control)
Wanting to make sure we gave the customer the best of the best we had our own 12amp esc made using the latest firmware flashed in these controllers which is the ever popular BLHELI software. Almost 90% of the ESC out on the market that is on a quad is using BLheli software. Making an esc capable of handling the high power current being supplied to the motors not an easy task but after various test with different components we found the perfect recipe. These ESC have a very fast refresh rate enabling the flight to be as smooth as possible. Matched with our 2204 motors these two are a match made in heaven.
CC3D Flight Controller
The Brain that makes flight for these amazing quads possible. The flight controller is the computer that controls these quads and processes all he information for flight to be possible. After our years of experience testing various controllers out on the market we found that the CC3D is the absolute best open source flight controller for all around flying. Although the Graviton does not have GPS, the cc3d does accept a GPS to be purchased and added at a later time down the road. The Gravitons come with 2 flight modes that can be switched while in flight. One of the flight modes is Self Level which is by far the most used mode especially for beginners. The way Self level works is every time you give an input through your radio you override the auto level feature, as soon as you release the input from the radio the unit automatically self levels on its own so you don't have to. You can clearly see why most pilots will love this mode. The second flight mode is ACRO, in this mode auto level is shut off so when you release the input form the radio the unit will not self level on its own and will continue its flight path. For FPV racing this is ideal because you want to be able to point the unit in your direction of travel and have it go. Most intermediate to advance pilot fly in this mode. Another nice feature about Self level mode is the aircraft WILL NOT tilt past 40 degrees making it impossible to flip. When you are leaning you do not want the unit to be able to flip until you learn how to fly it with confidence. In ACRO mode there is NO LIMIT so as long as you leave the radio stick to the right the unit will keep rolling to the right until you stop. Since these modes can be switched while in flight you can easily test the feel of ACRO and as soon as you get into trouble you can switch it back to Self Level. The CC3D is an open source flight control, for those of you who wish to add special sensors,GPS, or customize settings it is easily possible to do such things.
FPV Monitor
Provided with the Graviton is also a 5" monitor which transmits the LIVE video form the Graviton to the built in Video receiver so you the pilot can see exactly what the Graviton sees in live time. As you get more proficient at flying you will be able to fly with only looking at the monitor alone. For those looking for the edge in FPV racing Goggles can be purchased separately.
2.4ghz Radio
The Provided 2.4ghz radio is a standard frequency hopping 2.4 radio that is widely used in the industry. With very good range (about 2000+ feet in a good enviroment) and pretty much no way to for the radio to get an interference it was clear that this was the Radio for the Graviton v2.
