The best hardware in the world is virtually pointless without an effective user interface. Knightscope worked tirelessly to develop a stunning interface that helps the user accomplish a task simply and efficiently. Essentially, it is a memorable experience in a convenient browser-based package.
But while the look and feel is undeniably important, the true substance is formed in its functionality. Everyone has had the frustrating experience of getting 'lost' in an interface, unable to work out where to go. Navigating the KSOC is intuitive to the point of being second nature and almost invisible. There is clear meaning in graphics and content, and controls are where they should be - close to the item requiring action.
